Nile was hands down the best videographer we could have asked for. From the beginning, he made an authentic effort to get to know my husband and I as a couple and as individuals. He is extremely organized and met with us multiple times to ensure he knew everything needed to support us on our wedding day. When the day came around, his calm demeanor was very soothing and helped us stay in the moment. He went above and beyond in every possible way and even stayed past his contracted time because we were running behind schedule and he knew we’d want footage of our first dances, which was so kind of him to do. The turnaround for our highlight reel was only a few days and was absolutely mesmerizing. The way he captured the magic of the day was truly phenomenal and beyond anything we had hoped for, and we were so happy to have an artifact delivered so soon after the wedding. We even requested additional video packages because we were so impressed with his work and how he told the story of our day! This says a lot because originally we were on the fence about hiring a videographer at all. Above all, it was really important to us that our vendors be LGBTQ-friendly, especially our photographer and videographer who would be working with our wedding party, and Nile was so inclusive and great at working with every single one of our loved ones. If you are looking for a someone you can trust to capture your day beautifully, look no further.

Nile at Mendocino Photo and Video is a true master of his craft. What sets him apart isn't just his exceptional videography skills (although he has that in spades!) - it's his thoughtful approach to the entire process, which, as we learned, starts long before a camera gets turned on. Before our celebration, he invested considerable time in understanding our vision and provided invaluable guidance on how to capture the best possible footage. This included meetings, timeline suggestions, and how we can make the most of his skills to capture the most optimal footage. He really took time to understand the vision we had for documenting our celebration. On the day of our event, Nile's calm and grounding presence was exactly what we needed. He has this remarkable ability to be everywhere while remaining unobtrusive, capturing authentic moments without disrupting their natural flow. His experience and ability to read the room allowed him to anticipate and capture meaningful moments that might have otherwise been missed. The final edited content tells our story beautifully - creating a chronicle of our celebration that we'll treasure and share for years to come. Of all the decisions we had to make planning our special day, working with Nile was one of the BEST ones. His professionalism, talent, and genuine care make him an absolute gift to work with!

Mendocino Photo & Video was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Nile took the time to get to know us as a couple, gave us great feedback along the way, and helped us come up with a game plan to capture our wedding where we could fully enjoy our day worry-free. We had so much going on at our wedding, and Nile was able to capture it all so beautifully and put together an incredible teaser and highlights video. He has an immense talent for cinematography and video editing and his work wonderfully brought out all the rich emotions during our wedding and told such a captivating story. Can't recommend enough!!!

We made probably the best decision we could ever make in hiring Nile Sprague. The single most professional, thoughtful, empathetic, skilled, punctual, full of integrity, marvelous human beings I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with in my life. The quality of his work is nothing short of astounding. He is not cheap and that's a reflection of the shear priceless value of the work he produces. He genuinely cares about you, the customer, and wants to create something that you'll watch with tear-filled eyes in 25 years remembering the most important day of your life. Nile creates memories. He creates treasures. He creates heirlooms to be shown to your children's children. Don't make the mistake of hiring anyone else. Nile is the man to hire.

Nile is a professional to beat out all professionals. He’s so creative, patient, respectful, creates excellent quality deliverables, and genuinely appreciates being a part of whatever moment he is included in. He respects you as a client but more importantly wants to ensure he captures the essence of what’s going on around you according to your needs. He doesn’t push HIS creative vision on you - which is what a lot of people in his industry are guilty of. He created beautiful videos of our wedding and jumped right into all the craziness seamlessly. I told my husband he needs to marry me every year. When this cadence starts, I’ll be inviting Nile to come capture the moment(s) 🤣🤗👍🏻👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️ Without a doubt I’d recommend him to anyone looking for someone to capture some of the most important moments in their life.
