What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes as a (NKBA) National Kitchen and Bath Association certified kitchen and bath designer to keep our accreditation we must complete (CEU) continue education units regularly.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Kitchen and bathroom remodeling or any project that requires built in cabinets home office, TV entertainment centers, laundry room hobby craft room etc.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for some one who is able to demonstrate competent knowledge of his profession then look for some one who is friendly and illustrates that he or she is able to listen to your needs and works to show you what your options are and can explain why this or that works better so you can make educated informed choices regarding your project. The decisions are truly countless.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customers would understand that after we have provided a FREE in home initial consultation often two plus hours and then we prepare a budget proposal another two to four hours of effort that most of us want the opportunity to explain our work in person the typed proposal is but merely a summary of it all and will not answer all of your questions. So please do not ask to simply E-mail the proposal and respect that the professional wants to make another appointment to go over all of the many details with you.
