I have worked with Elizabeth for many years. She is a great teacher who can build and expand a singers talent. I have seen her teach many different age groups and she relates well to them all. She takes each students wants and ideas for music and expands on it to stretch each persons horizon, and this includes myself. She has been my teacher, who helped me to overcome stage fright and expand my range and tone quality.

I highly recommend studying voice with Elizabeth Kimery! I am a professional singer and classic musical theatre performer (BA Vocal Performance); I’ve studied with some terrific teachers, but Elizabeth is who I’ve clicked with the most, and who has helped me to sing whatever style of music I've wanted/needed to, to the best of my ability. While we have worked on a lot of classical music together, she is the only teacher who has helped me develop a very healthy contemporary musical theatre/belt sound, as well as ways to switch back and forth between styles (if you’d like examples, you can check out some of my recordings here: http://www.ashleywagnerarts.com/). That has been invaluable to my work! I studied with Elizabeth while living and working in San Diego (shows with Lamb’s Players, Cygnet, etc…) and worked with her on audition prep for Disney. I was hired by Disney Cruise Line as a singer/actor (primary role, Mary Poppins), later worked professionally in Washington, DC, before recently relocating back to CA. I’m thrilled to be studying with her again! If you live in San Diego and want to study voice (including more than only classical music), you need to call her. Her rates are affordable, she is very caring, and if you give her a chance, she will help you greatly.

Elizabeth is a wonderful and knowledgable instructor. She is professional but also focuses in on an individual's unique needs and desires to improve. She's amazing at pinpointing potential problems a singer may have habituated that would negatively affect their voice and guide the singer to proper techniques. Very thankful I am able to learn from such a wise and wonderful instructor.

Ms. Kimery is a great tutor who is able to quickly identify what vocal areas need improvement and then adeptly instructs on how to improve. Highly recommended.
