I am so happy you have found your way here onto my profile on Thumbtack please take a moment to view just a handful of photos I have taken over the course of my career some of which have been featured in The Wall Street Journal and The Los Angeles Times! I’ve also photographed actors and actresses over the years . I really enjoy what I do and truly strive to give my clients a good experience. If I could describe myself I would say I am easygoing and patient. I enjoy capturing my client in the most natural way possible. I like to direct my clients into a pose if that makes sense. Yanira was amazing!! Her shots were great and she had a ton of different ideas for poses. She got photos of things I completely forgot about and handled everything beautifully. I would definitely recommend her and/or hire her again not only for weddings but any occassion that calls for photographing and capturing beautiful memories

Omg hire her for beach pics!! We just took ours at Manhattan Beach near Santa Monica (her suggestion) and they came out stunning. She is so punctual, nice, professional, and had great poses for us. We were running late from horrible traffic and she still waited as gave us our whole session time, and we got a sneak pic of pics the next day, and the rest of the pics soon after. She also helped us with poses. At least give her a call—she’s so warm and caring and a definite pro!

Yanira did an amazing job and we really enjoyed having her photograph our brother in law's proposal. She was professional and courteous but not afraid to step in and get the shot. She scouted out some locations to get excellent photos before the event started. The sample shots she showed us looked amazing! Perfect lighting and composition. We look forward to receiving the full set when they're ready! I would highly recommend her and would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Yanira's work was excellent ! I was very impressed bc she captured my sons most important moments during his baptism. She also did a 2nd session of pictures at the mission and her shots were perfect. Yanira is the best photographer you can work with!
We hired Yanira for our wedding photos because her portfolio stood out above all others to us. All her photos look so natural and the emotion of the moment was so well captured, that we knew this was what we wanted for our wedding. And she delivered more than we could've hope for! We were pretty late with booking her, but from the beginning she was super friendly and helpful. She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and had great ideas for good locations for photos and the results were spectacular! The next day already she sent us sneak-peek photos which were amazing and beautifully edited. We couldn't believe it was us on the photos, in the best possible way! Such a nice memory of this special day for us. Yanira went more than the extra mile for us and we will definitely work with her again and definitely recommend working with her to anyone!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer mini sessions at a discount rate two times a year. If you refer me to a friend you get a free print. A small retainer fee of $100 to reserve your photography session is required.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Fill out a questionnaire, sign a contract and place a small non refundable deposit to secure your session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Honestly YouTube, many photography workshops and a lot of practice over the years.
