- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees for my personal and customized services are pretty straightforward. Here's the basic breakdown: Option #1 Entry level worker: You've graduated high school, may or may not have some college under your belt, and have already entered the work force but want to move on up the totem pole = $100.00 Option #2 Professional level: Many years in the workforce, with or without a college education. You've got some good skills and want to be acknowledged for what you're worth and bring to the table = $150-200.00 (I give individualized pricing but this is approximate) Option #3 Cover letter: I create a cover letter for you that you'll be able to manipulate according to the various jobs you may be applying for. Add the cover letter option to ANY of the above options or just have me do a cover letter only = $50.00 Option #4 Consulting: You just want my opinion, you want me to just take a look at what you've got and give you some straightforward tips so you can fix it yourself? I can do that! = $50.00 Option #5 Job Applications: Does the thought of having to sit for hours in front of your computer to apply for positions make you want to scream? Avoid spinning your wheels trying to plod through the maze of confusing application sites by hiring me to do it for you. I just recently added this service as multiple clients were becoming frustrated and exhausted and begged for my help. Some were in industries not heavily reliant on computers, so navigating through an online job search was daunting for them. Many were becoming confused by the latest ATS (Applicant Tracking Software) programs and began questioning themselves, thinking "Did I submit that correctly? Will it get into the right hands??" Let me take the guesswork out for you. I live and breathe this stuff, so not only do I know how to present my clients' skill sets in the best light, I also know how to get through the seemingly impossible filtration systems companies have paid for to simplify and streamline their processes. I charge an agreed upon hourly rate for this service. Option #6 Need a bio written? Need a LinkedIn profile built or updated? Just need some fancy words for a particular project and you don't know how to put them together? I can do that too for an agreed upon per-project rate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am continually reading up on the latest HR industry and resume writing news- I attend webinars and seminars whenever I am able. I just completed a LinkedIn MasterClass and became certified to write professional profiles.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to launch my resume business because I was a recruiter for a large company and spent all day looking at resumes... about 80% of which were horrible. I saw a need, knew I had the skills to execute, and Artisan Custom Resumes was born.
