- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a minimum price structure for pond maintenance. Once a month is $60, twice a month is $90 and 4 times a month is $125. Now this is a minimum, larger ponds or ponds with difficult to clean filtration systems can sometimes cost more.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Much of my day to day work is providing weekly and monthly maintenance for koi ponds. I also do a lot of full annual drain and clean projects for those with rocks on the bottom of the pond. But my real passion is building koi ponds and designing the water features!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There is a Japanese proverb that is loosely translated to say "you are not a koi keeper, you are a water keeper" Give the koi good water and the koi take care of themselves.
