FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My cost is really dependant on the task itself. Standard hourly pricing is $50/hr. Some people charge $30, some charge $70. Usually you get what you pay for. Often when I provide a price it includes 1 trip to the store for necessary parts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer I prefer to speak with them directly. This way I can get a complete understanding of a specific task. At the same time the new customer will be assured that they are working with a professional. Providing an estimate or quote based on a task description is often times only as good as the description. Based on the nature of this website, I aim to provide the most accurate quote possible. Whichever process the customer prefers is perfectly fine with me. I take pride in knowing that the work will be completed with safety and quality in mind.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am state certified. In order to become so I completed an extensive apprenticeship, took and passed the state exam, and I take classes regularly to continue to improve my abilities in my craft.
