About
Hello my name is Eddie. I am the owner and operator of New Village Construction and handyman services. I specialize in residential and commercial general carpentry. I do any and all types of carpentry work such as window and door installation, bathroom and kitchen cabinets, siding, fence and deck. Small concrete jobs like curbs, gutters and walkways. Foundation cavity repairs. I also do handyman work such as door and cabinet repair, drywall patches, lighting and plumbing fixtures, furniture assembly, Television brackets and custom shelf construction. Small renovations are also on the menu such as the opening of walls to create new entryways throughout the home or business. Also the enlarging of existing windows or doorways to suit the needs of the customer. Eddie is amazing. So, my wife and I were looking for someone to install several doors. We used an app service to commence our search. We stumbled upon Eddie, and the reviews were spot on—‘detailed and patient’ was the key theme. He came out and provided us with an estimate after measuring all the doors. The project started a week later as we waited on the doors to arrive. Full transparency, our home is older, not to mention we live on a hill, and therefore, we have some slight shifting. He worked through the challenges and worked his magic. He was professional and thorough and communicated through each phase of the project. He is trustworthy, as I had to leave my house multiple times for extended periods. In fact, I left so often I just gave him my garage door opener to access the home to complete the project. I would definitely recommend Eddie for any and all jobs. There is one other door he needs to install as it arrived damaged. He committed to coming back to install it. Eddie is an exceptional person. I was hasty about posting such a good review as I want to book him for other projects, but that would be doing him and others a disservice as he REALLY is that good. His rate is reasonable. In fact, he did such an amazing job we gave him a nice tip along with a Cuban cigar :-)
