The decision to hire an ADU builder/contractor was a game-changer for my property. After researching a few different companies, I decided to go with a local design-build firm, and I am very happy with the decision. They took care of everything. I didnt have to worry about dealing with architects, permits, and construction as separate entities. The permitting process was a little frustrating, as it always is, but they kept me informed and pushed the process along with the city. They were not the lowest-cost option, but the fixed-price contract and smooth communication made them an excellent value. The finished 600 sq ft space is fantastic. They used high-quality materials and they finished in a reasonable, ambitious eight months. It is a wonderful space for my aging parents that has certainly exceeded my expectations.
