Laquita did the maternity shoot for us, she is an excellent photographer. She made us feel super comfortable and never said no to any number of poses we wanted to shoot. She was very patient and at ease. Will def hire her again for our future projects! :)

She's the best! Hire her now! Great photographer and planner. Unique and fun! Please do not hesitate. I am neither a friend nor a relative of hers. I hired her after long Q&A and reading other reviews on Thumbtack. She was hired for a secret engagement photo shoot. I wanted to surprise my then girlfriend with a ring and capture the actual proposal. Laquita went the extra mile by creating a fake gift certificate and sending it to my then girlfriend as a birthday gift from my girlfriend's brother. Laquita and I secretly worked behind the scenes to plan where and how I would propose. She then, without giving anything away, guided my girlfriend into a date and location. On the big day Laquita and I acted like we were meeting for the first time. We took all the couples photos my girlfriend asked for in her conversations with Laquita and I played along...dumb and grumpy about "couples photos". Laquita then expertly led my girlfriend to the exact spot at the exact time I wanted. I asked, she said YES, and Laquita captured it all. Now we have great couples photos but most importantly a beautiful photo of the moment I asked my fiancée to marry me. Thanks Laquita!!!

I loved Laquita Parks-Lewis! She was very professional, and understanding. I was running late, and she hurried me up without all the pressure, and stress of rushing. The pictures came out Amazing! I would definitely use her again, and refer her to friends, and family that need/want a photographer.

Weddings are more difficult because not all brides want the same things. I adjust for a basic time frame and offer add ons.

I like to send out a questionnaire and follow up with an in person meeting.
