Introduction: Have been teaching golf as a PGA professional for 10 years. Expert in short game, including putting, chipping, pitching. Have given over 3000 lessons to juniors, seniors, men and women ranging from beginners to single digit handicappers. Strong believer in fundamentals outlined in The Golfing Machine by Homer Kelly. I really enjoy breaking the complicated golf swing down into simple steps. concentrate on one element at a time. goal is to see improvement in each lesson. finally concentrate on the short game to greatly improve scoring ability.

Hi, my name is Austen and I'm a senior in high school and I'm currently on the high school golf team. I'm one of Lee's students and I've been working with him for about five months now. I can surely say that I have seen a significant difference in my golf game, and I've been playing for twelve years! Lee has given me excellent playing tips and lessons and now I'm saving at least 6-10 strokes per round! Lee is an excellent coach all around and I surely recommend working with him!

Today I completed my 6 lesson package with Lee Hanley. He's a terrific instructor. Very patient. After my first lesson I did not play well on the course because I was still getting used to the correct grip Lee had taught me. I shot 91. The second time I played a round I shot an 80. Since then I have shot 80 three times and 6 rounds at 83 or less. Before my lessons I would shoot anywhere between 86 and 92. Lee didn't change my entire swing. He kept it simple. He showed me the proper grip, how to compress the ball, weight transfer and putting technique. Now I am able to go to the range and practice proper technique instead of just pounding balls with no rhyme or reason. I have no doubt I will be shooting in the 70's soon. I'm so grateful to be playing decent golf at age 54. Thank you so much Lee!!!

standard pricing is: $65 for a 1 hour lesson, $200 for a series of 4 lessons, $150 for a 9 hole playing lesson. $30/lesson for juniors 18 or under, or $100/month.

determine students goals. analyze existing ability and skills. make a plan to address deficiencies and get to work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Am a class A PGA golf professional. received my PGA card in 2008. have attended numerous PGA seminars on instruction from such well known teachers as Hank Haney, MIchael Breed, Jim flick, Mike Bender, and Claude Harmon. Do also have a BA from Stanford and an MBA from UCLA.
