One of them even suggested we use JB Weld to repair the leaking hot tub plumbing. We practically begged the guy to fix it! The hot tub is located in our Bed and Breakfast in Wrightwood, and is an important amenity for our business. On a whim and flabbergasted, we tried Thumbtack. Armando responded within hours with a professional and courteous message. He was able to get the "impossible to find" part and match it up with photos... This saved a lot of time and money. Paul K. says, "What an AMAZING find!!! After parting ways with my prior pool service provider (that was inconsistent, unreliable, and inattentive), I was referred to Paul by a neighbor. I sent Paul a text and he immediately responded and seemed to be incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. I needed an estimate for repairing and replacing some of my pool equipment that the previous owners of my home had neglected. Paul came out that same afternoon and offered several sound, cost-saving recommendations. I could immediately tell why my neighbor had been raving about Paul's service. There was something different about his attitude and approach and he came off as being very genuine and authentic. Paul then: 1. Took the time to test the functionality of my existing equipment before making an assessment; 2. Took the time to thoroughly explain how all the pool equipment works together and patiently described what was causing the issues I was having; 3. Provided me with a few alternative solutions to choose from based on what I wanted to spend; 4. Encouraged me to get quotes from other providers in the area; After receiving 2 other quotes (it turned out Paul was less expensive than the other providers), and based on my neighbor's recommendation, I ended up contracting Paul to correct all the problems he had detected in his assessment (i.e. a leaky pump, dangerous pool accessories that had been poorly installed, and unnecessary piping that was causing poor filtration and water flow to the pool). Within a few days, Paul corrected all the issues and within a week my pool and spa were absolutely sparkling clean. I then asked Paul to start servicing my pool / spa on a bi-weekly basis and over the past six months that Paul has been servicing my pool, Paul has been nothing less than professional, honest, reliable, and consistent. Paul also goes above and beyond when he comes to service the pool (e.g. fixing small things that he notices around the house that need to be addressed, taking in the garbage bins when I don't even ask him to, etc.) Simply put, I couldn't be happier.....THANK YOU PAUL...I appreciate everything you do!!!"See more
