FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Introductory Specials for new clients: - $49 for one 50-minute massage - $79 for one 80-minute massage We do accept insurance. Verify your insurance benefits at our website. We also offer series, memberships, and senior/military/first responder discounts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you first schedule your appointment with us, you'll be asked about your treatment preferences and goals to ensure we choose the best Massage Therapist for your needs. After arriving for your session you'll complete our Intake Form which includes relevant medical history as well as any complaints and health goals. From there, your Massage Therapist will do an assessment to look for posture imbalances and movement dysfunction, and review your treatment preferences and goals with you. This is a great time to communicate openly, which will help your Therapist utilize the most suitable treatment methodology and techniques. Depending on the length of your session, your Therapist may recommend focusing on only one or two primary areas of concern at first. After your session, your Massage Therapist will go over their findings with you and recommend relevant home care exercises, stretches, or recovery techniques. We continue monitoring and tracking your progress with each session, adapting treatments as needed and offering ongoing support.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Training varies from therapist to therapist depending on their specialties. The owner does all of the hiring and she's picky! She's a teacher at Healing Hands School of Holistic Health and knows a good therapist when she sees one. Continuing education is very important to the practice so each therapist is always learning and passing their information on to other therapists and their clients.
