Pet Care In Your Home is locally owned and operated in the Temecula Valley, and has provided quality, in home pet care since 1993. Additionally, I have worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician for over 30 years with experience in both specialty and emergency medicine. I have the pleasure of my daughter Danielle sharing in my passion and love for animals along with my vision of providing and maintaining the highest quality of pet care. Danielle joins me as co-owner of Pet Care In Your Home.

Janet was very professional. Our first meeting was for her to interact with our dogs and cat, and to find out their routine. During our vacation she posted pictures and kept us up to date with our pets' activities. We never had to worry about their care while we were away. She took care of little emerencies and made sure they were well exercised and cared for.

My previous pet sitter changed what she was doing and I had two events booked, one at Christmas. I needed someone to not just come into my home and trust them with our things, but trust them with our dogs who are children to us. I have two senior dogs, one very senior, and a senior cat. Because Janet is a vet tech she's comfortable with this situation. Janet spent a lot of time assessing the house, the dogs, yard, feeding, and medications. She asked detailed questions, and had us put directions, emergency information, and what to do in an emergency in writing so if there is an emergency she isn't dependant on memory, or trying to call us in a crisis situation if we can't be reached at that moment. Janet provided references and I had a lengthy conversation with one and it was evident she was not contacted ahead of time and promoted what to say. Janet had long term pet sitting relationships with all of her references. Also, it's a relief her fees are not so exorbitant it makes it impossible to consider being away. we have peace of mind when we're away our four feet children will be in responsible, loving, knowledgeable hands.

Janet did a great job watching my German Shepherd and two bunnies. I liked her from the moment I met her because she liked my dog and my dog liked her. My vacation was worry free and I will definitely use her again.

Janet promptly answered my request for a pet sitter for my 2dogs and 2 horses. She came for a meet and greet and I knew she would take good care of my kids while I was away. I am very, very picky about who cares or even interacts with my animals. I have been training dogs for 12 years so just anybody wouldn't work for me. I have a 9 yr old Lab who s very attached to me, he always travels with me but this time I couldn't take him. "Reggie" wouldn't come downstairs when Janet came, she texted me right away for advice. The two of us came up with several ideas and Janet willingly and expertly tried everything I suggested. She went above and beyond what was agreed on for the job to help Reggie feel more comfortable, including extra trips to my house. She also sent pictures so I could see how they were doing. If I ever have to leave Reggie home again, I will contact Janet and I feel confident with better preparation on my part he will be well taken care of, just as my other dog and horses were.

Janet came over twice to get to know our cats. She worked with Milo who scares easily until he was very friendly with her when she came to care for them. She sent me regular updates and pictures over the 2 weeks. Janet because of her expertise noticed a potential health issue with Mable which was confirmed when I took her to the vet. Mable is doing well after starting treatment. I was also very comfortable with her being in my house because of her exceptional professionalism. Sharon and Mike

Not really I need to evaluate the job the range is anywhere from 15.00 to 25.00/visit 65.00 to 85.00/over night.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a telephone interview frist to see if the customers needs will be met with my services. Then I want to go and meet the customer at their home and visit with the animals I will be caring for to see if my services will meet the needs of the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a pet sitter in the Temecula Valley since 1994 and a Registered Veterinarian Technician since 1984 working in a Veterinary Specialty Clinic, Emergency and Small Practice. I am a owner, breeder, trainer and handler of Great Danes,St Bernards and Mastif. My knowledge,care and love of animals is endless.
