Introduction
I’ve been a professional photographer for over 26 years. I worked for many publications, including Rollingstone Magazine, FHM and Playboy and have covered very special events, such as the Grammys and The Oscars.
Although, as of lately to be close to my son, I do Headshots and portraits out of my garage studio or portraits on location at a park or on the beach. I also enjoy doing weddings and events. I’ve been featured on many TV shows and podcasts as such as fuse music battle of the bands and even the Howard Stern show.

Karl’s response to my family photo shoot started with professionalism from the very beginning. He replied with a phone message, so I was able to hear his voice and he explained thoroughly his understanding of my request and confidently agreed to complete it with pleasure. He was extremely responsive to subsequent follow up communications and was very flexible with any changes we had. I ended up changing the day and location and Karl was again very kind and understanding. On the day of the shoot, he communicated clearly his location and time of arrival and made me feel at ease. During the photo shoot he picked a perfect location based on the sunlight and showed us how the pictures were turning out. He had great ideas for poses for my teenage kids, and made them laugh and smile, which I thought would be impossible to achieve! Overall, he made everyone feel like we were in good hands and that made the experience even more memorable. I would definitely consider Karl for future portrait, family or event photography because of his professional manner and trustworthy persona. Thanks Karl for capturing our family so well!

I am familiar with many of Karl’s photographic works. Among them, he photographed and made a video for my best friend’s wedding that moved us all to happy tears. Beyond his storytelling capabilities, his photos of the likes of Mick Jagger, Slash, the Obamas and Paris Hilton are not just iconic because of their celebrity but because of Karl’s keen eye for composition and color. He always treats clients professionally and with kindness, even in a journalistic setting when things can often become stressful.
