I’ve been a professional photographer for over 26 years. I worked for many publications, including Rollingstone Magazine, FHM and Playboy and have covered very special events, such as the Grammys and The Oscars. Although, as of lately to be close to my son, I do Headshots and portraits out of my garage studio or portraits on location at a park or on the beach. I also enjoy doing weddings and events. I’ve been featured on many TV shows and podcasts as such as fuse music battle of the bands and even the Howard Stern show.

Karl was our wedding photographer and he is amazing. Great communication and very responsive during the planning phase. He really spent time to understand the location, family dynamics, how time of the day and seasonality may affect the lighting. His depth of experience was apparent. You can tell he has really thought through everything. On the wedding day, he arrived promptly and did everything we had asked for and even more. Artistically, he is very versatile, seamless blending event photography, fine art wedding photography, and family portraits. The photos came out amazing. He directed the guests in ways that feel friendly and fund, and he also captured a lot of fun, spontaneous moments that we will be enjoying again through the photos. If you are looking for a wedding photographer - or anything else within his repertoire - I highly recommend Karl.

Karl was great to work with. We got married at the Santa Barbara courthouse and Karl knew exactly the locations that would give the best shots. He was on time, very professional, and mainly fun to work with! Karl is very accommodating on requests. Make sure you communicate any specific photos you want.

We couldn’t have asked for a better engagement photographer! From the very beginning, he was genuinely excited to help plan the surprise and went above and beyond to make the big reveal unforgettable. I had a great photo shoot with Karl. In about an hour, he took many photos inside his studio and outdoors, capturing a natural backdrop that complemented the photos well. I received all the photos a couple of days after working with Karl and had a big selection to choose from.

Karl, did an excellent job capturing the surprise proposal for my fiancée and I. We had initially planned to meet earlier and capture the sunset but an accident on PCH caused us to be late. Karl was super patient and understanding. Although it was dark, he still managed to capture great photos.
