This was our first experience with Thumbtack and, first time hiring Beach Cities Mechanical. We had been using another HVAC contractor for years until we recently became dissatisfied with their work. Travis was responsive and communicative. Even though he was busy, he accommodated our schedule. He was punctual, professional, and got the job done. His pricing was also fair. And, as a bonus, he seems like a genuinely nice guy. So far, our a/c is working great, and I'm sure we'll be working with Travis and Beach Cities Mechanical again!

We had multiple companies out who didn't seem to offer many solutions for the A/C issues in our office. BCM was able to come out the same day and got it up and going temporarily while they waited on parts that were needed. They were back out the day parts came in and we've had no issues since! Will hire again for any future needs.

Travis and his team did an excellent job in our church. He was always earlier than the time we agreed on, but most importantly, he found and fixed the issue we had with one of our units in no time (after being checked by some other technicians). We were so pleased that we even asked them to send a proposal to give maintenance to our facilities.

Consistent with industry standard, service calls are generally $65.00/hour with a two hour minimum. After assessing the situation, we are able to work up a plan of action, and proposal detailing the work moving forward.

Licensed HVAC Contractor with Certification in HVAC/R, Transport Refrigeration, and Welding
