- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee is based on number of individuals involved in the therapy. My base fee for ane individual is $120. I offer a limited number of discounted rates, determined by individual circumstances. Fees are discussed and agreed upon during the introductory phone consultation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session involves a full intake and discussion of specific needs, estimate of time involved and projected outcome. My treatment plan is designed based on what I determine to be the most effective treatment approach for the individual, couple or family. If I determine that the use of special methods in which I am trained and certified would be helpful, I provide a complete description of the method and answer all questions before beginning.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters degree in psychology and am licensed by the state of California as a Marriage and family Therapist. In order obtain license renewal I am required to obtain ongoing education in order to stay updated in new research and new developments in the field. I have also gained additional certification through education and training in several special treatment methods such as EMDR, Interactive Imagery, Hypnotherapy and Addiction treatment.
