Introduction: Bobby Delos Santos Bobby has a long history with health and fitness. As a child, he was chubby or as his Mom used to say "Husky". In High School he began to dabble in martial arts and wrestling and once into college at Sacramento State, his passion for martial arts and fitness began to go into full swing. In the 1990's he was co owner of South Bay Martial Arts and Fitness in Hermosa Beach, CA. He has over twenty years of experience helping himself and others determine their workout and meet their goals. Bobby is dedicated to health and fitness and has been determined to broaden his expertise concerning fitness and nutrition. This dedication has revealed itself through the passion and fun Bobby exhibits in helping others reach their fitness goals. Bobby believes anybody can do it and gets a kick seeing peoples faces when they see his 'before' pictures. Bobby has worked with men and women, young and old, beginner and expert. To stay up to date on the latest fitness developments, Bobby spends his 'off' time studying online and attends several hours of fitness related continuing education courses yearly.

When I first started working with Bobby, i had no goals, except, I wanted to get in better shape. He spent time getting to know me, my interests, and likes as well as dislikes. He set up a work-out tailored perfectly for me. He knew I hated lifting weights, but sometimes, only weights will do. He made those times more exciting than expected and was right next to me the whole time encouraging me and pushing me as well, and right there doing the exact same training. His Boxing and kick boxing skills are second to none, and his coaching in technique really made the workout fun as well as a place to learn and improve on my own skills. A few times, we wrestled and he showed me Jui Jitsu techniques. Before long, instead of dreading working out, i was looking forward to it. In six weeks training twice a week, I lost 10% body fat. Of the four trainers I've had over the years, Bobby is the best trainer with such a positive as well as encouraging attitude. He takes the intimidation factor out of the work out, and his non-threatning and non-judgmental demeanor makes everybody feel at home. If you're not training with Bobby, you're not training with the best!

Bobby is great if you're looking to shake up your routine. I go to him whenever I need to get my butt kicked and need help starting a workout regimen again. He lets me complain but by the end of our sessions I'm sweaty, sore and grateful I came. Wait, did I just make a dirty joke? Damnit Bobby. But really, Bobby does not make me feel uncomfortable or objectified and the workouts are always fun. They range from circuits to weights to kickboxing. I really hate to run so he knows to provide some variety in the hour-long session.
