J.J. Bentley was my photographer during a 1 hour photo shoot at Palos Verdes Botanical Garden. I was on time and J.J was already waiting for me, he got there earlier. During our photo session J.J was very attentive guiding me through the poses and facial expressions. We also changed multiple locations in the garden to get the best light and angle. He played with camera setting to capture my features the best way. J.J. has a very laid back demeanor which makes it easy to work with him and helps you relax in front of the camera. He emailed me link to the photos the next day and did and excellent job editing my images. After I posted the photos on my Facebook profile I received a lot of compliments and praise from people that saw them. I would definitely recommend J.J as a photographer and would gladly work with him again! :)

J.J. Bentley photographed me for a fashion and lifestyle shoot. J.J. helped me coordinate an outfit, and cosmetic look that displayed my personal style, what would be most flattering, and his grand vision for the outcome of the photos. The shoot took place conveniently in Glendale, California at a gorgeous location he scouted out beforehand. He knew the lay of the land and was prepared in advance with the best places to tuck into and the backgrounds that would take my photos over the top. The shoot lasted exactly thirty minutes on the dot. He was a little early, which I do appreciate as I am always early to a booking. This was a very professional detail about J.J. and it gave us a moment to introduce ourselves, set up shop, and get started. J.J. and I could have kept photographing for longer but he knew when to keep snapping and when to stop and confidently know the right photos were captured. What impressed me most about J.J. was his instant ability to bring out the best in me as a model. He created an environment that allowed for safe creative range, and comfortable collaboration. He gave feedback and encouragement continually, which as a new model, was something I was so grateful for. He was open and willing to hear all of my own ambitions about the photos but spoke of his experience and wisdom with the reassurance that J.J. knows best! J.J. truly goes above and beyond for his models. What ultimately blew me away and has me coming back as a returning client is his speed in getting the final edits back to me! By the time I drive home from the shoot, and eat some lunch, I've got a present on my desktop waiting for me to open a file of incredible images. Infinite thanks for J.J.!

Awesome photo experience. J Bentley suggested a great outdoor location which gave us a natural background at the perfect time of day. I was extra pleased with the out come of the unique color editing that gave our photos a creative flare. Next photo session..I'm thinking Christmas cards!
