We had an initial 2 hours evaluation with our dog Roscoe and after following Graciela's advice how to train Roscoe we saw an improvement in Roscoe's behaviors. Her methods are more effective than the group training and really caters to the one-on-one situation and answers our questions via emails promptly in between visits. We will definitely continue to work with her to get our rescue dog on track (who is 3 years old and we don't know his history). She is very professional and easy to communicate with and she is helping us out a great deal.Mar 10, 2019Verified
She was very helpful with our dog Zeke in understanding how his mind works. Very enlightening and helpful. Can’t thank her enough!Mar 17, 2019Verified
Great expertise with how to deal with training our German Shepard.Feb 8, 2019Verified
My lovable pup, Frankie, has a habit of aways following me around like a shadow making it very difficult to get anything done around the house. I cant even keep track of how many times I almost fell over him. Graciela has helped me with training basic commands but also develop a plan to make Frankie more independent and not feel the need to always move when I move. So happy with the results we have seen this far. Graciela is awesome to work with.Jan 25, 2019
Graciela is a great help with dealing with our 2 dogs not getting along. She assisted us with understanding the dynamic/relationship between the two and how to safely address the issue. We are still currently working on further building the relationship between our two pups, Graciela continues to be a great help.Jan 3, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have set prices for certain training programs but being self employed allows me to adjust my prices if needed to better assist clients when seeking help for their pet.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For basic obedience training or puppies I always recommend to start with our 1 hour training sessions as this appointment is great to start working on commands, we can address potty training, crate training, etc. For behavior concerns I always recommend starting with the 1.5 hour appointment so we have enough time to go over the history of the behavior, develop a problem list if needed, discuss management, and start the initial steps of a plan. Following the 1.5 hour appointment I recommend 1 hour follow up visits where I can assist you with implementing the recommendations along with making any adjustments if needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been working as a veterinarian technician for 5 years focusing on behavior. I obtained my B.S. in animal science and am current finishing my M.S. in Applied Companion Behavior Analysis and Counseling.
