SXSW and Cannes Award-Winning director Monty Miranda directs and produces movies, series, commercials, and documentaries around the world. In 2025 Miranda and his company created an international commercial campaign for Globus Travel, shot on location in Italy while also working on a long form documentary with NASA featuring Astronaut Eileen Collins who holds title to the first female Space Shuttle Commander.
He has worked with such talents as Daryl Hannah, Noah Wyle, Spike Lee, Tony Hawk, Anthony Davis, Danny Trejo, music artists from John Mayer to Dead & Co and even US Senator John Hickenlooper. Miranda has directed television and feature films across the US as well as internationally. When not directing, Monty can sometimes be found behind another camera shooting for the glossy pages of magazines like Vogue and Deadline Hollywood
Miranda’s feature film debut, SKILLS LIKE THIS, won the audience award for BEST NARRATIVE FEATURE at the SXSW FILM FESTIVAL and enjoyed a nationwide theatrical release.
Miranda has produced commercial work for brands from Nike to McDonald’s. His commercial work has been honored and won trophies from the esteemed Cannes to The Clios.
