The team was very professional, and cleaned up the work area as much as possible every day to keep the property looking as neat as possible from the street side. Every one of the crew was very polite respectful and responsive when we inquired about items or had any issues. As with any big project, issues do arise, and Tom and crew were very quick to address each of those, and resolve each of them quickly, and to our satisfaction, or change the plan to meet our needs. It was obvious from beginning to end that the crew took great pride in their work and delivering a quality product, from dig, to framing, to plumbing, to tiling, and equipment set up. We had multiple outdoor projects going on at the same time, patio, irrigation, etc..... and the crew was very effective at coordinating with other contractors and merging timelines for installs, inspections etc… Tom, personally, was exceptional as the project manager, and was available anytime we needed to talk about anything along the way, and we would highly recommend Tom and team to anyone interested in installing a new pool. How much should a pool inspection cost?

pool inspection will cost around $175, on average, with a low range of $85 and a high end of $499. This price can include a range of different systems checks. How do I schedule a pool inspection?

To schedule a pool inspection, begin by searching for local pool inspectors on Thumbtack. When you find a pool inspector you’re interested in hiring, check their availability and choose a date and time. You can also ask the pool inspector to suggest other dates. Fill out the short survey about your pool inspection, and the inspector will get back to you to confirm the day and time of your inspection.

What are the advantages of hiring a professional pool inspector?

Hiring a professional swimming pool inspector comes with a number of different benefits. It helps homebuyers and owners understand what condition the pool is in, which will help with purchasing decisions, negotiations or simply budgeting for repairs. A pool inspector can also give an accurate assessment of the pool’s mechanical and electrical processes. Perhaps most important is the ability to detect problems in their infancy, so they don’t become expensive repairs down the road.

How do I hire a pool inspector?

To hire a pool inspector, start by searching for professional inspectors near you by entering your zip code on Thumbtack. Once you see a list of potential candidates in your area, narrow down the list by reading their customer ratings and reviews.

Before you hire anyone, check for licensing requirements in your state and make sure the inspector has the proper credentials. The final step is to contact several pool inspectors to receive price quotes and compare them. This will help you decide who to work with.

What do they check during a swimming pool inspection?

A pool inspector can help you address any pool repairs you may need, and they can help you understand your pool's overall condition. Often, they will start by checking for general safety factors, such as the fencing or decking around the pool. They’ll also look at the pool's surface and interior to inspect it for cracks or chipping. Other important checks happen on the pumps, filters, heaters, and other accessories in and around the pool to make sure they’re working properly.
