Introduction: The Samaritan Counseling Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, faith-based counseling service that, since 1973, has been serving the communities of Upland, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Claremont, Montclair, Chino, and Chino Hills, California.
Our Mission:
Providing professional, faith-based counseling and educational services that facilitate healing, hope and forgiveness.
Fully accredited through the Samaritan Institute, our staff of professional counselors include: licensed psychologists, marriage and family therapists and a variety of pre-licensed staff. We are sensitive to people's faith and inclusive of the varied Christian traditions. However, our services are available to all people without regard for their race, creed, ethnicity, sexuality or religion. Usually, we can help people with a variety of issues, including the following:
- Marriage and Family Problems
- Premarital Counseling
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Coping with Loss or Grief
- Emotional, Physical or Sexual Abuse-
- Anger
- ADD and ADHD
- Play Therapy for Children
- Parent Education
- Alcohol or Chemical Dependency
The Samaritan Counseling Center is supported largely through client fees and some approved health plans. Reduced fees are available based on family size and income or qualification for specific programs.
