Introduction: Carson is an accomplished drummer & music educator in the Southern California region. He works as a professional musician, drum teacher, and drum transcriber. Since first picking up drum sticks 20 years ago, his drive to be a life-long learner has allowed him to earn performance degrees, from MacEwan University (BMus, 2017) and Calarts (MFA Jazz, 2019), and to perform with some of LA's finest musicians through various settings.
As an educator, he knows firsthand the critical role a good teacher can play in unlocking the fun and potential in each student who wants to fall in love with music.
Notably, through his time working as a Drumeo transcriber, he has amassed 300+ note-for-note accurate drum transcriptions to popular songs of all difficulty levels!

It’s been awesome learning the conga drums with Carson. It has been a slow process for me and he has been very patient and kind. He is super knowledgeable and has provided me with tools/guidance to be successful. I would recommend Carson to anyone wanting drum lessons!

My son has been taking drum lessons with Carson for about a year now and we are very happy with his progress.
