I was recently in need of a home facelift; not a structural remodel but a change in my interior. I was fortunate to employ the services of Karen Mizrahi, KM Home Design. Karen has the skill sets of a space planner, interior designer, resource manager and general contractor, all in one. The advantage of having those skills at your disposal from the onset of your project, ensures your desired outcome.From our initial discussions regarding my needs, desires and budget, Karen was able to design a plan that reflected how I wanted to feel when I walked into my home. The selection of paint, flooring, cabinetry, countertops and hardware created a palette for the clean, modern, uncluttered, artistic and peaceful environment I now reside within. Karen has a plethora of resources for furniture, window coverings, rugs and any accessories that will complete your vision. Each craft team that entered my home was professional, courteous, trustworthy and responsive. Karen is an on hands and responsive manager that keeps both her teams and the client moving forward. The project was completed on time and within budget, including my approved change orders. I would recommend Karen Mizrahi, KM Home Design for a full redesign, rebuild architectural project or a home remodel.

• During the height of the pandemic in November 2021, we had extensive damage in our house due to a burst bathroom water hose.
• Needless to say, our entire ground floor needed remediation and repair
• We decided to renovate both upstairs and downstairs areas, 4 br, 2½ bath and we teamed up with up with Karen at KM Home Design (https://kmhomedesign.com/)
o Karen has fabulous design ideas and is a great listener
o Together we formulated a plan and executed on a whole house reno with the exception of one bathroom for logistical reasons
• As you might imagine, there can be several twists and turns & ups and downs on a project of this scope
o A complex team of artisans and professionals were managed and coordinated with precision
o Any issues were handled with positivity, grace and timeliness
• In April 2023, after the dust had settled on one thing and another, we teamed up again with KM Home Design to complete the remaining bathroom area
o The final patch has been patched and painted, the final hook has been hooked
• Bottom line:
o 100% interior design renovation, 100% delightful result

A water leak caused us to have to remodel our kitchen and two bathrooms. I talked to several contractors and ended up choosing Karen at KM Home Design and am really glad I did. She put a lot of energy and effort into our project, was a pleasure to work with, had great ideas and helpful suggestions and moved things along quickly. She was professional and friendly and so helpful. I would work with her again and highly recommend her.
