- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have standard pricing since every project is unique. I do have guideline prices from experience but the deviation between one project and another may be in hundreds of percentage.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally, Marie or I will contact the customer to make an appointment for a FREE verbal estimate (for home owners). I (Sean), the owner and a licenced contractor (NOT A SALES PERSON) will meet with the home owner at the job site. During the meeting the home owner and I will discuss the project problem to solve or dream to build. I educate the home owner of the process and code requirements, we discuss potential problems and obstacles, raise ideas and propose solutions. I shall give estimated prices for proposed work if possible right there and then. It is my sim to educate the home owner regarding the project and let the home owner make an educated decision. It is my intention to earn your business so yes, I do expect to sign a contract at the end of the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am autodidact and love to learn new things. I am constantly seeking more information and education regarding my line of work. I attend suppliers Product Knowledge seminars and educational breakfasts learning about new products and techniques.
