We were Santos’ very first client from the Thumbtack app, but he has 30 years of bartending experience. I usually do not hire people that have 0 reviews, but I’m glad I hired Santos. He arrived late due to the horrendous traffic from the fires, but he communicated thoroughly on his progress getting to our party. He was personable, professional and hard working. He was hired from 4pm to midnight, but when we went to settle the bill with him at midnight, he told us he would stay since he arrived a little late and observed that we still had drinking guests. He was also offered tips from our guests although we opted for the fee that included tips; he informed our guests that tips were not necessary, which reflected honesty on his behalf. At the end of the night, he not only had to carry his equipment back to his car (which was not close since there was another party occurring on our block), but he also put away all of our house supplied beers, mixers, etc. I’m glad we took a chance on hiring Santos and would definitely hire him again. Santos brought his own bar, ice and tools. He was polite and made great lemon drop martinis. Kept up with fast-paced crowd of 50! Everyone was happy.
