Introduction: Hello! I was a percussionist throughout middle and high school, college (where I also took all music classes required for an associates in Music Education), and played in World Class WGI group Capital City Percussion for two years. More recently, I started playing piano more actively with City Church, as well as teaching piano and music theory lessons, both located in Ventura, CA. In 2012, I started teaching Middle School percussion ensembles, and soon after added private percussion lessons, High School marching band/indoor percussion. I taught with the Beavercreek bands in Beavercreek, OH until 2017.

Taylor was, and still is, a great instructor and friend. She is truly a modest and humble person and wants the best for everyone before herself. Back when I was in high school, she would give her time and energy to helping high schoolers learn how to play percussion. She wouldn't just be there to teach us, she would also be there to get to know us personally and it made the experience that much better. Outside of the instructor aspect, she was always there to talk to, get advice from, and would offer her input. She really helped me through some tough times. I am lucky to know Taylor and if you have the opportunity to, you are lucky too. Thanks Taylor!

Taylor is a great teacher! She plays piano at the church I go to so fantastically, they bring her back almost every Sunday to play! She makes the songs seem easier to play when she has taught me, and when I don’t get it right away she stays patient. She’s well versed at a wide variety of genres and is passionate about it!
