Easy going (unless you want more serious!), low priced, lenient about time length, yet very experienced, many years of performing, pro bands. I teach rhythm and lead, including fingerpicking; electric or acoustic, with most experience in rock, blues, folk, also funk, reggae. But I'm interested in playing a wide variety just for the learning/ experience; think all genres have some great songs/music. I can help with ear training for playing what you hear, and I do a lot of music/song composing if you're into the creative aspect. Also, I can show you music principles in general, if you like. Playing music has been a passion from childhood. My musician father started me early, formally, then as young teen I discovered the guitar and took off! with it. Was fortunate to play in groups from the start, collaborating with others, pushing it forward. It's great imparting my experience, knowledge to others motivated in this exciting art form and see them advance in it. So great for connecting to/releasing emotions and communicating in positive ways. Can be a productive relief from stresses, pressures of life.
