Andres and his crew took only 2 days to till, prep, install an entire new irrigation system and lay sod for a yard that is over 1000 sq ft. Others quoted 4 days at a higher cost. We are very pleased with the final results and would highly recommend Andres and his Regs Tree and Lawn Services for any of your future landscaping needs! A++

Manny was great! Came out and gave me a free estimate to rip out nearly 20 plants. After giving me a fair price for the project, he came back out and ripped all the plants out, took out all the root systems, and even repaired a sprinkler that was slightly accidentally damaged. I would highly recommend Manny to anyone. He was very professional and did an amazing job.

Franco contacted me less than an hour after I submitted my request for sprinkler repair on Friday morning. We scheduled a free estimate for the next day. Franco showed up on schedule, evaluated each sprinkler and coverage area, made suggestions and gave me a fair quote which I gladly accepted. Franco came back as promised on Monday and completed the work. He did a terrific job. My wife and I could not be happier. I highly recommend him. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars.

This was my first time using Thumbtack. I put in a request on a Saturday afternoon for sod installation and I received a couple of responses back. I decided to contact Ruben because he had more sod installation experience. I contacted him Saturday night and he came out Sunday afternoon to provide a quote. The quote included the prep, checking all the sprinklers to make sure they worked or repair, sod installation and he even added some plants in my planters and wood chips on my side walkway. It was a reasonable quote and decided to move forward with Ruben. He was back the following week for installation. One thing I liked about Ruben was the communication aspect. He would always keep me up to date on his status. The yard looks amazing..what a difference grass makes! I recommend Ruben for your sod needs. I also plan to use Ruben for my lawn maintenance.

Eddie and his employees were awesome from start to finish it only took 2 1/2 days to complete they also did drip system to water plants on timer. Cut down 2 trees in back yard trimmed 2 large trees took out 2 smaller trees, hauled away a jacuzzi and a very large dog house. They cleaned up after everything and the prices were affordable. Danny and Manny are real nice, clean, and professional. David Danny's the owner, is hungry to beat pot his competition and wants to grow his business. They work fast but are thorough. He's going to follow up with me in a week, or two if it rains, to make sir everything is ok and come by again if he needs to recalibrate anything. My irrigation valves weren't working and had a leak. He offered to cut and cap for $25, or replace the valves and rewire for $110-125, so I had them do that. They do lan maintenance, gopher traps, weed kill, and weed control if it's in grass. He has professional equipment, a crew, a professional equipment trailer. So far I'm real happy with their work and his prices. I'll recommend him, I'd like to see his business grow.

I contacted Ross for a rental home to check a leaky roof inside a bathroom facing the street and to check out electrical outlets that were not working. Ross is very professional, he showed up at the exact time he said he would, responded immediately to texts, answered my phone calls and my tenants said he was a nice guy. He was able to to fix the electrical outlets and found where the leak was in my roof the first day. Then came back, removed the rotting drywall and patched up the roof. I will definitely keep Ross's phone number for any work I need done.

Jesus and I met just after the death of my husband and I needed someone to take over where others had left off, and made a mess of things. My property needed everything from sprinklers replacement to reseeding. I wanted to find a competent company to do the job that my husband USED to be able to. I interviewed Jesus for replacement of my entire irrigation system, and he walked me through what else they would do on a weekly service basis. . They came in with a reasonable quote and we proceeded from there. Since that time I have had attentive and excellent service. They are thorough, arrive on time, work quietly and attentively. I have no hesitation at recommending these guys, I have never done a "referral" before, but felt compelled to share my most positive (ongoing still) experience with G & J Landscaping, Inc.

Brett responded to the request for a leak in the sprinkler system. He was awesome in his timing. He went out the same day, traveling 30 miles one way to provide an estimate. He also diagnosed an issue with the stove for us on the same call-out. He returned to the property the next day to complete the repair and my tenants were satisfied with the work and his timing. His pricing was fair and very reasonable. I will be hiring him again in the future!

He arrived on time and investigated the job thoroughly. Before he started the repair he explained everything that was involved in simple terms that I could understand. He completed the job in a timely manner, and listened to all of my concerns. He tested the system when complete. Excellent service! I would hire him for any other plumbing needs and would recommend him to others as well.

I got several quotes from several companies. Some of the others would probably be considered more "professional," with better knowledge of the specific plants I had in mind, or a long-term ecosystem-style approach to planning, or detailed formal top-down landscape architecture designs. But Sunset Gardens gave me one of the most competitive bids, and they were by far the best communicators. I have a large front yard and an even larger back yard. I needed a huge planter full of dead plants removed, the remains of front and back lawns removed and replaced with mulch, four or five trees planted, a variety of drought-tolerant shrubs and flowers added, some tree-trimming, front and back pathways or sidewalks added, and a drip-line irrigation system installed to replace the old "spray as much water into the air as possible" sprinkler system. One company took a few days to get me a bid and wanted $10k for the project (not including the pathways, which I hadn't figured out I wanted yet), but did not listen to any of my specific needs or requests: they were going to do what they thought was right, cheap, and fast without thinking about my long-term goals. Another company wanted $37k (no joke), and while I'm sure they would have done a fine job, I couldn't afford two cars' worth (and half our family's full year's income) for a project whose number one priorities were removing dead plants and planting some trees; they also left a lot of the specifics vague. Sunset Gardens got back to me the day I called, came out that afternoon to look at the property, and got me a quote that evening, for less than $13k, with a lot of the specifics nailed down. (They actually gave me several options in terms of size of trees and width of walkways, with specific prices for every option, allowing me room to customize based on my budget and plans.) Most importantly, they listened to everything I had to say about what I wanted. They shared their knowledge and recommendations where I had no specifics in mind, but they didn't ignore my own ideas or desires. It felt like a collaborative process from the very beginning to the very end. Once they got into it, they recommended removing and replacing several shrubs that were not in great shape, and adding a drain line to get rain water away from where it was pooling near the house and over to the lower end of the yard. These were also not in the original quote, but they pushed this because it was what the yard needed, not for the additional work: for everything beyond the initial bid, they charged me only for the additional materials/plants, not for any of the (extensive) labor. In the end, we had to get a slightly smaller boxed tree than was initially quoted, which saved me $300. The additional materials and plants cost less than that, so the final price ended up lower than quote. The only issue I had on the project was the tree-trimming, which was pretty heavy-handed. They're not arborists or professional tree-trimmers, and they won't climb up high enough to surgically remove just the dead limbs; they topped my sycamores pretty severely (losing me some significant summer shade). If the sycamores are all filled in again by this time next year (two are already starting to), then I'll be very happy. If one of the trees dies, I'd have to drop my review to 4 stars, but everything else about the experience was so good that I couldn't go any further. This is a small family operation (a father and his two sons), but they work _hard_. Some days they went home early; some days they went home _really_ late. They always started promptly around 8am, and they always did a full day's work with significant noticeable progress. They didn't work weekends, but the total project start to finish took less than a month. They cobbled together the plants I wanted and their own recommendations from at least 6 separate nurseries, ranging from Azusa to Orange to closer to my home in Claremont. Their willingness to go out of their way to make sure we were all happy with the finished product was outstanding. We've gotten several comments from friends about how great the new front walkway is, and the back walkway is exactly what I needed for my everyday use; both were done in lovely sweeping curves. Both yards are already a huge improvement over what I had before, but I'm _really_ excited to see it in a year or two, once the trees are providing shade and the one-gallon shrubs and flowers have filled in. They're small now, but already beautiful and attracting butterflies. My wife and I are really happy. I made sure my mom got their contact information so they could get her a quote for her yards in her new house in Upland. She ended up going with them as well, and is hiring them as regular gardeners as well. They finished my project two days ago, just after signing contracts with her, and started work on her yard. My mom says you already wouldn't recognize her front yard.

I hired Miguel to change out my old sprinkler controller to a WiFi controller and help me with a leaky valve. He and his crew arrived on time and were very efficient! I called him back to re design my front and back landscape to something more water friendly. He put together a beautiful design that was really easy to understand with a planting schedule and plant pictures etc. I am very pleased with the work!!!

Norbert first repaired a simple drip system problem.. he installed last summer. No charge since he guarantees his work for a year. I then used his crew to move some extra DG (decomposed granite) from one side of the house and spread in various places in the backyard. They also raked and cleaned up some weeds in the backyard. His helper did a great job and looks all fresh again. Norbert always calls back the same day, schedules in the near future and shows up when expected.
