Christine and her staff with Enjoy Dining In did an amazing job preparing, cooking and serving at our annual "Big Red Wine Party." We had large format wines and eight wonderful tastes prepared and served over a period of 4-5 hours for 18 people. This was the first year that we were able to enjoy our own party as Christine took care of everything food related for us including pouring wines and water throughout the night. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I studied at a small university in Aix en Provence in the South of France. They offered studies of French cuisine and I emphasized this in my studies. Now I mostly travel a lot and taste and take course in the cuisines I love.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?l have always loved to cook even in high school. When I lived in France I went to a small university where I studied French language, Culture, History,& Cuisine. This opened up a whole new world for me around food. When I returned to the States I began cooking for friends and family every chance I had. They began telling me I should be doing this for others. And so I did. I worked for private clients as a personal chef and @ a retreat center in the high desert of Arizona for 15 years. My own journey with food has been dealing with food allergies. My diet changed 12 years. I began creating delicious alternative recipes for my self and found there were many people who were no longer able to eat dairy, gluten or nuts but who were not willing to skimp on taste. My journey has opened up another service in my business that offers healthy gourmet comfort food along with traditional and ethnic dishes.
- What types of customers have you worked with?*Family meals 2 to 3 times a week where I shop, cook & clean up for a household for dinner that night and making enough for leftovers the next day. *Cooking and catering for small and large groups for business seminars, workshops, and special events. *Intimate dinner parties where I come in and prepare a celebratory meal. *Cooking parties
