Christine McMaster is a hidden gem of the culinary and catering world! She was the caterer last year for a wedding I attended and I was most impressed. She completely handled an amazing dinner for 21 people with delectable Indian and Middle Eastern Food; taking care of the shopping, the food preparation, the service and cleaning up of the food and leftovers. I was so impressed that I asked her to cater an Indian Meal for 75 people! Since it was a much larger undertaking, we provided theingredients, but Chris oversaw every aspect of the preparation of a 5 course meal, and remained calm, organized and personable throughout. The food was absolutely delicious. I would absolutely recommend her for any catering needs you might have - you would be lucky to get her!May 7, 2015
Our plans to have our wedding meal prepared by our favorite restaurant fell thru 3 weeks before our wedding. I knew Christine Mcmaster as an excellent cook and had been to 2 private dinners catered by her. Quite anxious, I called her and she put me at ease with her assurances and suggestions to take my time and figure out what we would really like. Great advice! We chose Mediterranean food. Together with Chris we quickly settled on a menu. There were so many details but she handled it all from overseeing the table setting, shopping, deliveries and arranging table display. It was amazing I actually could relax. The meal was sumptuous elegantly prepared and plated all by Chris and her kitchen staff. Our dinner menu was: A simple greek salad, hummus, tzatziki, baba ganoush, roasted vegetables, flat bread Then Shawarma lamb, roasted chickens, and feta rice w/ pistachios. There were 35 people at the wedding meal and all the courses were on time and beautifully plated. The kitchen was quiet and when I went in everyone was smiling and extremely busy. Chris ran the kitchen in a quiet organized way that was contagious to all who worked there. Truly an amazing woman. Her sense of elegance shined thru both in the delicious food and its presentation. My husband and I will have lasting memories of Christine and how she stepped in and played an integral part in helping create our dream wedding. I highly recommend you have her cater any function. I first hired Christine from Enjoy Dining In to cater a small business luncheon last year and not only was the food delicious, but the peace of mind I got from knowing everything regarding the food was taken care of was priceless. Christine took care of everything which freed me up to focus on the clients in attendance. Th folks at the lunch were delighted that they were able to have a delicious, healthy meal at the event, even the folks with special dietary needs enjoyed the gluten free options. Since then I've hired Christine a number of times and I'm always impressed with her food and her dependability. Looking forward to our next event together Christine! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I price out for each client individually depending on the number of guests, the menu chosen, whether service is needed during the event or if drop off is requested. After a detailed phone conversation or email I can best quote my bid for the request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The more specific a client can get about what they want for the food and food service for their event the better I can give them a quote. I usually ask a few questions before creating a custom menu for them to choose from for their event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I studied at a small university in Aix en Provence in the South of France. They offered studies of French cuisine and I emphasized this in my studies. Now I mostly travel a lot and taste and take course in the cuisines I love. I've been cooking for people for over 20 years .
