Introduction
I am a lifelong athlete: a competitive runner and cyclist up until my early 20s and now a jiu jitsu/grappling instructor who has reached the level of 4th degree black belt in jiu-jitsu. That’s almost 30 years of training and practicing jiu-jitsu. I am confident I can help you with your fitness and self defense goals. Let’s talk and find out more.

Mark has been our project photographer for a little over a year now. He’s wonderful about connecting with our customers, scheduling a photo shoot, and showing up with professional equipment and vision to take images that best show out product and services. We’d highly recommend Mark for your image needs. Whether it a still shoot or live, Mark does it all!

I was very happy with my headshots by Mark Hopkins! During the photo shoot, Mark was very professional and engaging which put me at ease. I would highly recommend him for those seeking professional headshots!
Headshot Photography

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The bulk of my work is in wedding photography and family portraits although I have been doing a lot of real estate photography as of late. I am also working on video production for a San Diego-based home improvement series that will be out soon. In the past I produced a cable show called San Diego On Location.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Someone seeking a wedding photographer is not necessarily looking for the same thing as a person seeking head shots or real estate photos. Head shots should be sharp and well lit. Where as wedding photography you want more than just well-lit photos. You want photography that is emotional and dramatic in addition to nicely lit portraits. That's just my opinion. Everyone has their own taste and style.
