As a professional on Thumbtack, my typical process for working with a new customer involves the following steps: 01-Initial Contact: I initiate contact with the customer, either through Thumbtack messaging or a phone call, to understand their specific needs, requirements, and any other relevant details about the project. 02-Project Assessment: I ask the customer to provide additional information or schedule an on-site visit (if applicable) to assess the scope of the project more accurately. This allows me to gather all the necessary details and provide an accurate estimate or proposal. 03-Proposal or Estimate: Based on the information gathered during the assessment, I create a detailed proposal or provide a clear estimate outlining the scope of work, timelines, costs, and any other pertinent terms and conditions. This ensures transparency and sets clear expectations for both parties. 04-Agreement and Scheduling: If the customer agrees to proceed with my services, we discuss and finalize the agreement. This may include signing a contract, making any necessary deposits, and scheduling the project start date and duration. 05-Execution: Once the project begins, I execute the work diligently and professionally, following the agreed-upon plan.
