- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each project is different depending on the scope of work involved, location, and whether you are remodeling or just desiring a refresh. Consultations start at $250 for 1.5 hours. My hourly rate starts at $125 per hour for full service design work. I can provide an estimate of hours once the scope of work is clearly defined.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For full-service design projects, I begin with a discovery call to learn more about your goals, timeline, and overall vision. From there, we schedule an in-home consultation to meet in person, walk through the space, and define the project scope. Once the scope is confirmed, I provide a contract outlining the services included. We then move into the design phase, starting with space planning and an overall design direction. Concepts are presented for review and refined as needed. After layouts and direction are finalized, we select colors, finishes, furnishings, and materials. You’ll receive mood boards for each space to help visualize the design. Once everything is approved, we move into ordering and styling. The final step is delivery and installation, resulting in a thoughtfully designed, finished space ready to enjoy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an Associate’s degree in Interior Design, as well as years of hands on experience working in the industry.
