FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since I am new to this service, I am starting out at a lower price point, regardless of my qualifications. Services through other means would be $200/hour; however I like the flexibility and autonomy of helping others through here. I am happy to do up to 5 revisions of a resume for a standard price. Above that, I would charge an extra fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing I would like to see is the existing resume. Ideally this is in some format that is presentable to a company and not in note format. The second thing I would want to learn more about is the type of jobs that a person is applying to and the experience they have in the field. Lastly, if a person is active in their job search I would want to see some example job descriptions so that I can help cater to specific roles. There is a lot that goes into matching a resume to a job description in order to get the recruiters attention - there are far too many people sending out blanket resumes that will not get the attention of a recruiter.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a successful recruiter for the last 8 years, and working at a global staffing agency for the last 5. I have placed over 800 people in positions and secured over 100+ permanent positions for those individuals. I have received numerous awards for my success with matching company needs and individual skill sets.
