- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of my pricing for murals and street paintings are based on square footage, surface, and materials needed. I discount my rates for larger projects and multiples. All sketches (2), materials, and rentals are included in the price I quote you. Portrait pricing is based on the amount of figures and paper size. Portraits start at $850.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First step is getting to know what you are looking for...size, surface, timeline, thoughts on imagery, etc. Once we have a conversation about all of that, I can start thinking about a design. I create an original sketch for every project I do. I present sketches upon receiving an initial small sketch deposit. -This scares a lot of people off but you are paying for me to come up with a concept and convey it in a full color sketch or sketches that take time to conceive. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, CA, with a degree in Illustration. Received my Masters degree from Cal State Fullerton in Drawing and Painting.
