FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a very simple pricing system. We quote the project based on scope and we give you the option of a monthly fee for maintenance of your website. If you prefer to hire a dedicated developer to work only on your project, we can do that for you. It basically depends on what the client needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Definitely, with the fast paced technology, we need to keep up with the latest trends. Im continuously updating my skills, formally and informally.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I graduated from university, I started as an encoder/secretary at an IT department working on a payroll system. I took the job just to be in an IT environment, where I learned to work harder. I always say that I'm a designer by heart, so I took side jobs as a graphic designer at night while working in an IT department as my day job. I got introduced to web developers who needed someone to do their designs. Im used to seeing my graphics in print, but the internet was just starting that time so I was just amazed the first time I saw my work online. I have a background in coding so I taught myself HTML which wasnt offered in my university at the time and learned the ins-and-outs of web servers. I just knew that web designing was my niche when I was able to incorporate both of my skills and I found myself enjoying what I do, working non-stop. Even when Ive had a different day job, I always sought a web designing job on the side. Seeing my finished product online for the first time is always rewarding and the feeling of fulfillment will never get old..
