With my background in the fields of both fitness and counseling, I can help you learn very quickly. My training style is fun, motivating, and respectful. You can find me at SYNRG Fitness boutique studio in Westlake Village, where I can customize your workout program to achieve weight loss, tone, strength, flexibility, post-rehabilitation fitness, and mobility. Our studio at SYNRG is a beautiful, quiet location where private Pilates lessons and personal training can challenge you in an inspiring, supportive space. I also provide in-home personal training services for women throughout the Ventura County area, and your consultation is free! Training with Clarisse has been amazing. Clarisse is very knowledgeable and encouraging, and I'm in better shape now than I have been in years. I started out my training program with a lot of pain and weight loss issues that were detrimentally affecting my daily life. Since I started working out with Clarisse, I feel a lot better and my pain has disappeared (although, you are sore from her workouts and constant progress!) Clarisse cares about what happens to her clients in the long-term. Clarisse keeps an eye on her clients' health, and the exercises she has me do are meant to help me avoid health issues later in life. I've had a great experience working out with Clarisse, and I highly recommend her as a trainer.

I booked Clarisse for a private yoga session after hearing about her services from a friend. When I met Clarisse she immediately put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. She took some time getting to know me, my goals, and any concerns I might have. She is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice on how to achieve my goals. She gave me a challenging workout, but I loved it and was so proud of myself that I was able to get through it. I would highly recommend Clarisse for yoga and all that she has to offer.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I do have a referral appreciation program, since it's a huge compliment if you think enough of my service to tell a friend or family member. For mobile training services, if a client refers me to someone they know, and that person signs up for regular training, I take $10.00 off the original client's session cost until we get down to two-thirds of my rate of $90.00 an hour. At SYNRG Fitness Studio, I charge $80.00 an hour, and you can lower the cost and increase accountability by training duets for $120. I also do small group personal training, which is a flat rate of $160.00 an hour regardless of class size.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Typically, I begin by meeting at a public location or at SYNRG with a potential client to fill out paperwork, complete a health screening, and to see if our personalities are a good fit. The next step is our first appointment at the client's home, at SYNRG, or another prearranged location, in which I perform a few more assessments and go through a basic workout. After that, based on the number of sessions per week, the client's goals, and their strengths, I design an exercise program that we will be following during the subsequent sessions.
