Introduction: I would like to think that my work stands out because I enjoy connecting with my clients and getting real and natural responses. No one loves having their picture taken, so I try and get my clients to chat and laugh to forget that they are in front of a camera! I love creating images! It's just amazing to me, still, that I can do this and I NEVER tire of creating images that show what is going on in our world.

Actually got me to look halfway decent, and that's no easy task! Since for me the experience of having my picture taken is akin to dental surgery without anesthesia, I ruin most sessions by scowling...Miss Karen did a good job of loosening me up and relaxing...not sure if that will be the universal experience, but I thought she was most excellent, both in person and in the quality of her photographs.

she was very unprofessional and inconsiderate.. her exact words were "you got what you paid for", which are not words of a professional person .. if you want good pictures please look elsewhere even if it takes you longer or costs more .. Karen is not a trustworthy person ..I asked for maternity pictures she gave me head shots ..if you wanna see it for yourself I am willing to show to you the very crisply job she did .. just ask me .. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HER ..

I can also show ALL the shots I took of Verenice and her husband and I would not say they were "headshots". And, my exact quote was "So, sorry, you got the product you paid for." I had also stated, ". You have all the digital images, to do with what you wish, I went out on location (which is very costly), I offered to reshoot for free, I scouted that location for you and you would have NEVER gotten any of the above for the cost of $165." I will allow my work to speak for itself. https://www.flickr.com/photos/rougescheveux/sets/72157647851816256/ I am very sorry that Verenice is unhappy but, frankly, they wanted money back, when they signed a contract that clearly stated that I don't give refunds. I did offer to reshoot for free (even though the contract states that it would cost twenty-five percent of the original price). I did offer to refund them some money (even though I usually do not give refunds) but when she wanted MORE (half the costs), I had to draw the line and I rescinded my offers.

I constantly stay abreast of the photography industry via the internet and the trade papers. But the most important thing for a photographer is to always keep shooting!

Portraits and headshots are my bread and butter work.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I did promo pictures for a rock band. These guys have been in the music business for thirty years and have had their share of annoying photographers. So, getting them to relax for me wasn't easy at first. Plus, I had issues with height. But, in the end I got terrific shots and we all had a ball!
