Matt Barkhoni the owner could not have been more rude and nonchalant about his mistakes he made on my returns. At the time I filed w this company he was polite and said I could indeed claim expenses even though I made it clear I did not have receipts for my books, He now says its common sense that I shouldve had receipts and its my fault for having filed without the receipts I did so upon his advice therefore I believe he is at fault because I am not a tax specialist he is so now I am in trouble with the IRS and having to pay over $1000 and the entire time I spoke with him he was completely unapologetic unhelpful, completely wasted my time going down there in making an appointment basically to be talked down to and disrespected,would not even write down the name or number of the headquarters I had to ask and write it down myself completely unprofessional I would not recommend this place to anyone else and I am going to pursue further action and never doing my taxes here again. Thank you for filing my taxes illegally and now I have to deal with fraud your job is to file taxes why should I be penalized for mistakes you made zero stars if possible dont go here. Ive done my taxes with many other companies and never have I had an issue such as this and never have Ive been treated with such disrespect he is a rude uncaring human being knowingly putting people at risk with the IRS unfit to do his job in my opinion. He just defends his actions saying that its common sense I shouldve had receipts but at the time that I filed with him he said it was not an issue its common sense that he should know the law especially since I paid him to do my taxes, I think its common sense that he should know how to do his job

My friend recommended this Jackson Hewitt to me and I've been going here for a few years now. They make sure that I get every deduction and credit that's available to me. I always leave confident that I'm getting the maximum refund without getting in trouble with the IRS. Before going to Jackson Hewitt I went to H&R Block. I just didn't feel like they knew what they were doing and my refunds were always lower. So glad I decided to switch to this Jackson Hewitt there is no where else I trust to do my taxes.
