FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The best place to start is with a free 15-minute discovery call. We’ll talk through your project, goals, timeline, and what you’re hoping to achieve, and make sure it feels like a good fit on both sides. From there, you can choose how you’d like to move forward: Virtual Consult ($125, 30 minutes) We’ll walk through your space together over video and talk through layout, design direction, and overall goals. After the call, I’ll outline exactly what I need from you, including measurements and photos, so I can accurately move forward with your design. This is a great option if you want clear direction without needing an on-site visit. In-Person Consult ($325, ~60 minutes) I come to you, take measurements, and we walk through the space together to start shaping layout, design, and any potential updates in real time. This option is more hands-on and allows me to gather everything I need on-site, making the process more seamless for you. Next Steps After I’ve seen your space, I’ll put together a clear, realistic plan based on your goals. This includes: Recommended design scope and associated design fees A realistic budget for furnishings and/or renovations A clear path forward for executing the project This way, you have a full understanding of what it will take to bring your space together before moving into the full design phase.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quick discovery call to understand your space, goals, timeline, and budget. From there, we move into either a virtual or in-person consultation where we walk through layout, design direction, and any potential updates. After seeing your space, I put together a clear plan that outlines design scope, realistic budget, and next steps. My goal is to remove guesswork and give you a direction you can confidently move forward with.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background started in an interior design firm, where I spent three years working as a project manager and buyer rep. I was involved in sourcing materials, working with vendors, and attending market to bring in new suppliers. From there, I moved into hands-on work in construction and spent several years in the field as a contractor and tile installer, while continuing to design spaces for clients. That combination allows me to approach projects from both a design and execution standpoint, so everything I propose is not only beautiful, but also realistic and buildable.
