FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend acting classes locally to continue improving my storytelling skills and attend intensive workshops for my presentation as a Master of Ceremonies. I also attend a yearly conference hosted by the American Disc Jockey Association to better understand my profession and wedding trends.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My clients are looking for a Master of Ceremonies and a DJ that can help them create a great reception. They are looking for a unique mix of music during cocktails and dinner that fits their musical tastes, but isn't too loud and won't distract their guests. Robert's couples also are looking for connection and engagement for their guests. Robert provides his skill as a storyteller to help connect your guests by sharing stories about the wedding party for their introductions and tells your story, how you met & fell in love, to the guests so everyone can feel the connection.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had the pleasure of working for Greg and Timsy. They met by chance in Bangalore, India, fell in love at first sight and have been together ever since. Their reception was such an awesome celebration and included many elements of both American and Indian culture. It was such a privilege to share their story. Their guests enjoyed the story so much, they were silent and on the edge of their seats the entire time. Not only did Greg and Timsy include American and Indian culture in their ceremony and reception, they also had me play a mix of American and Indian music. It was challenging, but ridiculously fun!
