Introduction: Hi! I am the owner and tutor of Optimistic Tutoring Solutions. I have 18 years of tutoring experience in various subjects and grades. I have my B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction/Elementary Education from the University of Colorado – Denver. Optimistic Tutoring Solutions tutors clients by Zoom. Our clients have shown an increase in their MAP scores, grades, and standardized test scores. Clients have also increased their client's confidence level by letting them know that they can do anything. I have taken math and reading classes in my Master's program on how to teach these subjects to children. I have taken a professional development class on how to teach math through Stanford University. I have also been trained in Barton reading and spelling program for children that are dyslexic and Singapore math. My tutors all have a college degree, teaching/tutoring experience, are highly skilled in the areas they are tutoring in, are highly positive, and have a passion for teaching and helping children. Optimistic Tutoring Solutions only hires the most qualified tutors, and they all come highly recommended. My tutors and I have tutored typical, special needs, dyslexic, and gifted preschool, kindergarten, elementary, middle school, and high school students. Optimistic Tutoring Solutions conducts tutoring sessions via Zoom. Optimistic Tutoring Solutions uses a curriculum in reading, writing, and math that aligns with the common core curriculum. I use the reading curriculum that I used when I was a reading intervention teacher. These curricula are easily adapted to online learning. Currently Optimistic Tutoring Solutions are tutoring kids across the United States by Zoom and in person. I am so glad we found Brianna! My daughter has made so much progress in her reading since working with her. She sometimes struggles to sustain attention, but Brianna is so patient and does an amazing job of meeting her where she's at and getting her to engage in the lesson. Not only has she gained confidence with her reading, she also enjoys it more now

I was in search for a reading tutor for my than 8 year old. She was behind a bit after that year of virtual learning. I am so glad that I found Optimistic Tutoring! Brianna is wonderful, she has really helped my son, he was really behind in reading and we hired her to work with him a couple hours a week towards the end of the school he jumped 3grade levels at the end of the year. I would recommend Brianna anytime someone needs a tutor and would definitely use her again in the future.

The best tutor my daughter has ever had. It’s a value you cannot put a price on. Mrs.Brianna is always on time and flexible with scheduling if needed. The quality of her work is superb. The material she provides inspire challenge to reach new levels. She takes time to explain, demonstrate, and uplift in different ways until the lesson is understood. She engages by playing S.T.E.A.M related games, provide materials based on my daughter’s liking, and stimulates her to ask questions. Besides her professionalism, my favorite characteristic with Mrs.Brianna is the consistent compliments she stirs up to motivate great work ethics. Hands down best tutor ever!

Ms. Brianna Ricotta has instructed my granddaughter for over a year. In that time she has given my granddaughter confidence to want to read and actually enjoy reading.
