By understanding your goals, we work together to develop a tailored game plan to help fulfill your needs and help you succeed. We provide immediate, detailed, and specific feedback to you during tutoring sessions, using curriculum from your school, curriculum we have developed, or any other resources that may apply (College Board, textbooks, etc.). We will ensure to diagnose what your strengths and weaknesses are, and help you develop the studying and test taking strategies that best align with how you work, empowering you to perform with confidence. Backed by tutors with quantitative degrees in physics and math, along with teaching licenses, we have an expertise in the curriculum that students grapple with everyday. Our tutors are familiar with a wide range of courses and are equipped with a differentiated approach to teaching STEM based on the strengths and needs of the student. Before Flatirons Tutoring, my SAT score was very low; Then, when I started tutoring sessions with Flatirons, I started to understand what I needed to work on and ways improve on that specific area, with the help of Cris. I was able to raise my score by 200+ points. I would definitely recommend; Cris was easy to work with, flexible, and was definitely very helpful.

After taking a couple practice SAT’s, I was doing pretty well but wanted to improve my score. Khan Academy was pretty useful but didn’t help with tactics for taking the test. Because of this, I went to Flatirons tutoring and really enjoyed the tutoring. I learned the test much better, incorporated what I learned into my practice, and improved my score by 80 points in only a couple weeks. Definitely recommend, at least a try!

Cris Chacon at Flatirons Tutoring Help my daughter, Emily, with math in high school. Emily felt very overwhelmed and confused. Cris tutored her weekly. He was able not only to build her self-confidence, but to explain word problems in equation so that she could understand them and do the work on her own. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable, kind and professional. He is easy to communicate with and always prompt and efficient. I would highly recommend his services to anyone challenged academically.

I have been out of school for a bit and not taken math for even longer but am learning how to program for a new job. I am jumping into calculus at a college level and was extremely nervous. Working with Cris (remotely) was beyond helpful. He helped me brush up on basics in algebra, trigonometry and pre calc in one session. Feeling much more confident and ready to jump back in. I will be reaching out again next time I need help! Thanks Cris
