I hired RWG to remodel our new home, approximately 2,400 sq. ft. This was a complete remodel as we demoed down to the studs. We needed to perform structural work to remove a wall and add egress windows, as well as install all new plumbing, electrical, HVAC and convert the wood fireplace to a gas fireplace. Rodney proved to be an excellent project manager in that he did an excellent job coordinating all of the subcontractors that I hired, as well as work with the City for code requirements. Rodney and Casey were able to bring design issues to our attention immediately and come up with alternative ways of completing the required task on the fly. We will enjoy your newly custom remodeled home for years to come due to the hard work that RWG did. I was on a tight budget and timeframe. Work was done on time and on budget. I will not hesitate to hire them again for any interior or exterior work. Jo Leduc Thornton, CO
Forest and his team did a great job of installing our kitchen lighting and backsplash. We asked them to come back to tile a kitchen wall. Both jobs were done professionally and in a timely manner.---C. Anderson
I hired Mountain Top to take down a 25' high interior brick wall, and a smaller brick fireplace suround. Steve is an experienced mason and knows exactly the best way to take apart the wall without damaging the house. Steve and his crew were extremly careful with our house and did a super clean-up of the area. In fact, he even mopped the floors! I intend to use Mountain Top for additional work.
Last summer hired them to do a pretty good size landscaping project which included front and back yard, leveling out the ground, retaining wall, sprinkler system, a small cobblestone seating area along with acomposite deck wood privacy fence. Took longer than planned but overall really satisfied with the outcome and how friendly all his staff and family were
Matty arrived on 9/13 the day of the Boulder flood to our townhouse complex. He is a friend of the next door neighbor. Quickly he established rapport and was able to come into my unit and estimate when he would be finished with the unit next door so we could work with the tenants re: the time needed to repair drywall, floor, in the downstairs, approximately 400 sq feet. His work was of high quality and was most willing to work with me as I was doing the painting. He was hired to work on 2 more units after finishing with mine. He was clear and organized re: what needed to be completed in what order. His tile work and dry wall work was lovely. In a crisis situation he was most amiable and easy to work with. I would recommend him and his work. I only needed drywall and tile work and I would recommend his expertise and quality of finish work.
Keith is fantastic! Finding a good contractor can be tough and many can be sketchy and difficult to deal with (believe me I know). Our office needed a small remodel which included the building of a wall, some drywall patching, minor electrical work and painting. And Keith was literally perfect. His pricing was great, He showed up exactly when he said he would (every single day), was very professional, did incredibly good work, kept things clean, had all the right tools, and was literally the fastest contractor I have ever seen. Seriously nothing but good things to say about this guy. We will definitely be hiring him again next time we have a project and I highly recommend that you do as well. Cheers!
Yakima Construction installed a wall and sliding door for me. They also built a storage/closet area in my garage. They were very professional and extremely clean. They finished the whole project in a very timely manor. I am very impressed and will definitely use them again.
Super professional, punctual, and kept the work site absolutely spotless! We could not say enough about Sean! We did some tuck pointing and some rebuild work on some bricks and blocks before we sold our home and it turned out great!
We hired Mike and his son Jeff to remodel a basement bathroom that had been flooded. We hire them because Mike really knew his stuff. He was realistic on pricing and time-frame. He was prompt, professional and hard working. These guys showed up in a snow storm!!! They had to move some plumbing for a shower, reframe the shower, take down some walls, move electrical, fix a wall, tile, pour concrete and do some other contractor hocus-pocus that I don't know too much about. He communicated very well, I always knew what was going on . AND they built my kids a stage from "santa". I just can't say enough good things! Thanks Mike and Jeff!
We hired Stucco and Stone Masons, via Thumbtack. They had good recommendations, were very prompt in their response, came to our home for a quote within 2 days, and could start right away. Work included: 1) Floor leveling (our floors were very uneven!) 2) Tile installation 1100 sq. ft (12X12 travertine squares, arabesque travertine tile, 3X5ft subway tile shower + mosaic travertine shower floor tiles) 3) Plaster wall repair in our basement (7 exterior walls) To give you an idea of the VALUE this company brought to our renovation: We had received four quotes JUST for the tile installation that were between $13,000-$15,000, which did *not* include floor leveling or plaster wall repairs! These companies/individuals were booked for months in advance and their turnaround for completion would have been 4-6 weeks. This would have severely delayed our project. Filiberto (goes by Beto) and his two sons were very friendly and honest. They quoted us $8,000 for #1-3 work above, and said they would be finished within 3 weeks. They WOULD have been finished before that 3-week timeframe had we not miscalculated the amount of tile they would need for the bathroom floor. They were very understanding of our mistake and returned as soon as the rest of the tile arrived to finish the project. Beto’s crew of four men arrived every day around 9am, and worked around the clock - even SATURDAYS! They were extremely courteous, professional and hard working. Some days they did not leave until 8pm! I have never met such a dedicated, hard-working group of people!! If we had questions/concerns, they were very open to resolving the matter quickly. We are incredibly pleased with their work. Our basement looks AMAZING!! The sand colored tile and the plaster wall repairs has really brightened the space. We are planning to hire them again to repave our driveway and front sidewalk/steps in the spring. We hope you consider them for your future concrete, plaster and or tile projects!
I was very happy with J & P Landscape and the work they did for me. Brandon Kortgaard was great to work with. Number one - what a communicator. I always knew what was going on and when. He was always prompt and did what He said was going to do on time. I took the time myself to look at various bushes and Perennials to know what I liked. Brandon had of course made suggestions but was very willing to make changes for me on the fly. He had even planted most everything before I had even given him a deposit. Who does that? I would sure trust J & P. I had a mature landscape that needing some tuning up. We removed Some old matured plantings and planted approximately 53 various bushes And perennials. New edging was replaced, 3 block walls were fixed, 2 were Leaning and had to be dug and reset. Four bushes were trimmed and manicured properly for the 1st time in their life. Fence fixed in a few places where rock had pushed it back. Concrete patio and 13 concrete Steps all replaced. Some concrete in front walk replaced. Patio was in Back yard all work had to be done by wheelbarrow. All workers seemed to be very tidy and caring about their various tasks. Of course I Had received 3 other bids on my project. J & P was very competitive and fair. I will Definitely use J & P Landscape in the future. Mike S.
I hit the jackpot finding Maurice! I bought a townhouse that needed some renovating. My original plan was to remove popcorn ceiling, remove wall paper, paint, remove tile floor and lay carpet, upgrade tiled fireplace and tiled window seat. I knew I would need to coordinate the different jobs, while sticking to a tight timeline of one month. I happened upon Superior Floors while looking for someone to remove tile. During our first phone call, I explained my plan and found out he could do all of my projects. I was ecstatic!! From the moment I met him, I could tell he was passionate and very knowledgeable about his job. He noticed the mismatched texture on the walls (two other painters didn't notice), gave suggestions, and was very creative in designing the fireplace. I added a few things to the project (install/wire ceiling fans, new flooring in the bathroom, upgrade interior doors) when we met and was assured they would be done in time. After they started working and I saw progress, I became excited and asked about doing a few other things that I had planned for the future during this renovation (new bathroom cabinets for both bathrooms, new countertops, new lighting fixtures, and granite countertops for the bathroom and kitchen). Though I knew I was adding more work and possibly delaying my timeline, he accepted the challenge. Maurice kept in constant contact throughout the entire project. He kept me within budget and he maintained my one month timeline, even with the added projects!! I was very lucky everything was delivered on time or early. The finished project is amazing and I love my "new" place! I have already had him back to make my laundry space more functional. He did a great job with this too! I will be hiring him again to retile the master shower and guest bath. He is personable, professional, and thorough. He does a fantastic job and does it right the first time, he does not cut corners. I really liked his excitement and design ideas throughout the project. I highly recommend Maurice with Superior Floors! It was my first experience with a contractor, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
We had basement flood where we had an inch of standing water. Prior to this job, I had dried-out the basement carpet, which had no pad, using 9 carpet fans/air-movers and 3 dehumidifiers, however, wanted to check the walls for moisture/mold/mildew. The job included removing baseboards and carpet, inspecting sheetrock for mold or mildew, and mitigating any issues. Henry was very professional and experienced in basement flood mitigation. He reviewed the process with us before doing the work. He did an excellent job identifying whether we had mold or mildew and mitigating the issue. I would recommend Henry for anyone needing this type of job.
Jim was prompt and polite. He did an excellent job with mounting my tv and installing an over the range microwave. We will definitely be using for future projects.
Completed three jobs for us. 1) added below the surface pipe drainage from existing close-to-house sub pump of about 15 yards. Solved problem of way too much water in back yard 2) finished, with insulation, dry wall etc. the unfinished garage 3) took AC compressor off mounting bracket attached to house and built and placed on concrete pad to lessen vibration and noise. including re-doing outside compressor pipes etc. All jobs done very well and solved existing problems. Roy explained every step and process and why. Jobs were completed timely and as inexpensively as possible. Would re-hire, and would recommend to anybody, anytime.
We got bids from at 6 different contractors to change one area of landscaping from mulch to rock scape and put fresh mulch on another area. Mike gave us a very competitive bid and was extremely professional. There was a delay from a third party vendor and Mike and his group went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted. We are very pleased with the end result and would recommend them to anyone.
We had a two bed house that needed a complete remodel. He painted the walls and the ceilings in about 2 hours. There wasn't a single bare spot throughout the house. Ray did some repairs to the toilet that 4 other contractors couldn't fix. The toilet is completely fixed now. He completed some sub-floor repairs and trimwork on several windows and doors that look GREAT. He's fast and thorough. Really great guy to be around, too. VERY impressed!
The crew replaced a 20' section of cinder block/brick retaining wall that is 50+ years old. They reinforced the section and added drainage along the bottom to prevent future failure. Alex went above and beyond to locate brick that matched the existing portions of the wall. Alex and his crew were very pleasant to work with and persistent with getting the job done in the face of some weather challenges as well as brick matching challenges. Over all, very pleased with the job that Adirondack Masonry did!
Jason completed the small project (repairing/replacing some cinder blocks and applying a large coat around a foundation wall) quickly and at a reasonable price. I'll be calling him for future masonry projects.
We had a sizable retaining wall landscape project. Jaime was extremely professional, prompt and did an amazing job. We also had flatwork done too with steps. Everything is exceptional in quality! As an owner of a real estate brokerage, I have opportunity to work with numerous contractors. Jaime and his company Definitely rise to the top. We have hired him for a second job at our primary residence and the current experience is consistent in quality! The picture is not reflecting the completed job but this gives you an idea of the size/scope.
The job was to install porcelain tile on four walls (floor to ceiling) of a very crowded bathroom, around a vanity and other accessories already present on the walls. The level of craftsmanship was outstanding, far exceeding our expectations. The price was very reasonable, much more reasonable than many Boulder handymen that I quoted. Overall, the Five Star Tile are warm, honest people, who take pride in their work. We highly recommend them.
