Introduction: I am a professional, experienced and fully insured DJ who has been providing services for weddings and other events for almost 15 years. Before that, I was a professional musician and "front man" for a very popular band in Denver that has done dozens of weddings for some very prominent people. I have a state of the art sound system, all digital music library, lighting, laser effects and fog machine for dance floor and wireless mics for speeches, toasts, etc. All MC duties are provided in a fun, friendly fashion. There is NO substitution for experience when it comes to making your event day PERFECT. When you call, you will be speaking to the actual person who will be MC/DJ at your event (me). I will NOT get your business, then send an employee or third string DJ to host your special event. I'm the guy. I am committed to doing whatever needs to be done to make every occasion memorable and AWESOME. WEDDINGS comprise a very unique set of circumstances that should only be trusted to someone with WEDDING experience. A DJ who does a great job spinning discs in bars and nightclubs does not necessarily possess the right skills and experience to handle a wedding. Timing becomes more critical. Pleasing a diverse crowd of various age groups takes skill and awareness. Bridal introductions, 1st dances, cake cutting, bouquet & garter toss and other special circumstances require a certain flair and flexibility that comes with experience. The right DJ/MC will make all the difference in the world when it comes to making these highlights memorable. OVERTIME CHARGES can be another issue that will make or break a wedding reception. Doing the job right means that people will WANT to stay longer and keep dancing. I have been to weddings where people were having a great time, then the DJ stopped at the "contracted" time until the hosts agreed to pay more $$$. Sometimes they were forced to pass the hat so their guests could continue to party. THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN at a wedding where I am DJ. My quoted fee for weddings is for the event, NOT a set number of hours (sometimes the venue will restrict the length of time the party can go until).
