We hired Miss Lyza to entertain for my five year old daughter's birthday party. The theme of the party was Twilight Sparkle Dance Party. She showed up in a beautiful costume and provided sound equipment and lighting for our party. She did face painting, sang some special songs for the birthday girl, gave my daughter some special gifts, and entertained the children for several games and activities. She was engaging and stayed in character the whole time. When my daughter found out Twilight had to leave the party she broke down in tears but Twilight cheered her up with some sweet words. She was everything we had hoped for and made my daughter's 5th birthday a truly memorable experience. 100% I would hire her again!

Miss Lyza was amazing! She was "Elsa" for my 4 year old's birthday party. She showed up on time and gave a crown to the birthday girl and sang her a special song. She kept all the little girls entertained and everyone loved her.

Miss Lyza was an amazing Cinderella at my daughter's birthday. She fully engaged the young children, brought hand outs, sang beautifully, and even improvised with a few games to entertain the kids. All the parents asked me later where I found such a great character for the party. I recommend her 100%.

My daughter is still talking about Elastigirl from her 4th bday, as are the other kids that were at the party! Her level of enthusiasm was awesome. She literally entertained 20 kids 6 and under for 2.5 hours, which is a miracle. Thank you taking the time to research the role and the heart you put into her bday celebration. So hard to find entertainment if your daughter doesn’t like princesses!

Miss Lyza was one of the best person I have every hired. She did so well with all of the kids and keep them entertained. She made Alaya have a good time and even gave her a crown which she wore for her party and all of next day. She went out of her way to help with Guy Diamond phone call because that was who Alaya really wanted at her party. I would recommend her for anyone to use. Such a joy to work with.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For different requests, I charge amounts relevant to the event. But, for the Parties that I do: * DJ Services, * Singing, * Games * Face Painting/Glitter Tattoos I generally charge $165 for the first hour and $70 for each additional hour. I do give discounts for non-profit organizations and such!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When a client contacts me, I reach out via messaging, phone calls, or face to face meetings (depending on the event), and we discuss what they are envisioning for their special occasion! I do offer evening hours during the week from 6PM to 8:30PM. It is of the upmost importance that the client gets exactly what they want (or more!). If it is a community event, I want everyone in attendance to have fun and take part in an experience they won’t forget! And for events that honor a particular person (or a few special people), I want to make sure that the Guest or Guests of Honor feel truly special on their big day! Everything I do is in pursuit of making them feel important and recognized! After I get a feel for what the client is looking for, I set to making that happen, so that I can provide exactly what the client wants/needs! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard people say that they had this idea for their special musical event in mind, but they never thought they could find someone to provide just what they were looking for...! And, that is why I do it! I love to hear that I was able to help them make their special occasion be just what they wanted!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?As a music education/vocal major, I have studied vocal performance, as well as child development/behavior. In addition to my 16 years teaching Kindergarten through 8th Graders in the music classroom, I have also done many different private and group lessons/ensembles - after school, through church and community organizations, dance studios, and at my own home - including Keyboard Ensembles, Vocal Ensembles/Choirs, Percussion Ensembles, and Step Teams! I have also worked with various private Pre-Schools and Summer Camps, composing, organizing, and directing their musical showcases. In addition, I have done some ‘In-House Field Trips’, performing as different Characters, and participated in various Character Meet & Greets for private companies and community organizations. I have acted and sang with a Murder Mystery Troupe, performed with a local playwright group, sang for different non-profit organizations and events, and I currently sing with a female gospel group. I have also DJed for many school dances, weddings, Bat/Bar Mitzvahs, and events in the community.
