Josiah made room in his calendar to get my air conditioner installed quickly as the temperatures were pretty high. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies among projects, but most projects will be billed a base service charge. For hourly projects this includes the first hour of labor with additional hours being billed at my hourly rate. Other services may be billed at a flat fee, regardless of duration.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to speak with you on the phone as soon as possible to discuss the project and the scope of work. Together we will establish budgetary expectations, and schedule either an initial visit or the project completion date itself. If I am procuring supplies for your project, I will collect a non-refundable materials deposit after providing an initial estimate for materials and labor.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My formal education is in construction, fabrication, engineering, and project management. I hold degrees in welding and construction engineering.
