FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the type of makeup service you need, and my rates are listed on my website. I’m happy to talk through your plans and answer questions so you know what to expect before booking. For bridal makeup, airbrush application and lashes are included in my pricing, and travel is included for most locations. Any additional travel fees are discussed upfront. Whether you’re planning a wedding, getting ready for a special event, or booking makeup for a photo shoot or headshot, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and finding the right fit for your needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by getting to know you and what you’re looking for. We’ll talk about your event, personal style, skin type, and how you want to feel in your makeup. If you have inspiration photos, feel free to share them, but you don’t need to have everything figured out. I’m happy to help you decide what will work best for you. My goal is to create a look that enhances your natural features, feels comfortable to wear, and suits the occasion. I want you to feel listened to and at ease throughout the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a licensed esthetician and professional makeup artist with decades of experience in the beauty industry. I’ve been licensed as an esthetician in California since 1987 and in Colorado since 2006. My background includes working with Estée Lauder, salon experience, training at Cinema Secrets in Los Angeles, and completing the Master Makeup Artist program through Online Makeup Academy. My skincare knowledge helps me understand how different skin types and textures respond to makeup. I continue to draw on that experience to create looks that feel beautiful, comfortable, and appropriate for each individual.
