I am a Denver, CO area family photographer specializing in storytelling and lifestyle photography.
First and foremost, I am a mother.
Being a mother is what drives me to capture families the way that I do. I know what it’s like to feel time slipping through your fingers. I may not be able to slow it down, but I will freeze those moments in photographs, being sure to capture the littlest details that bring you back to that moment once again.
I don’t aim to capture perfection, because when is life ever perfect?. My favorite photographs are usually the ones you didn’t know I was taking. Wiping away a tear, consoling your toddler after a fall, or a genuine connection between you and your partner.

Emily is so knowledgeable when it comes to photographing little kids! We had family photos done and our 2 year old would not sit still for anything...Emily worked her magic and was able to capture some great photos for some amazing memories! We will definitely be going to her again!

We had such an amazing experience doing family photos with Emily. My 2 year old was so cooperative with her and she knew exactly how to keep him engaged. The photos were stunning and her knowledge about lighting, angles etc was truly amazing!! She was also very helpful as I was trying to figure out what everyone should wear :)

We have moved around and had many photographers. Emily is in our top 2 photographers ever. She is fun to work with, patient, and makes stunning photos out of what seems like nothing. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our shoot with Emily! Hands down one of the easiest and most fun family photo shoots we’ve ever done. She was patient, friendly, made us feel immediately comfortable, and I don’t know about you, but I never know how to “pose” for candid photos. She was a pro at recommending fun and beautiful scenes that our two kids - ages 2 & 5 - had a fun time doing. And in a short period of time too, which is key when you have two littles.
She took so many gorgeous shots - from intimate, beautiful bonding moments to silly, fun & captivating shots that captured our family dynamic perfectly. I can’t say enough good things about Emily and her style. Our biggest challenge is choosing which photos to blow up and frame! There are so many beautiful ones, i just love them all. Do yourself a favor and book her today!
